News : Increase in Verbal Abuse and Violent Behaviour

Thursday, October 12, 2017

Dear Patients

We wish to make you all aware that in recent months there has been an increase in verbal abuse and violent behaviour toward Reception staff working at the Practice.  The frontline staff do a very difficult job and work very very hard to provide services for all those registered with us.   Thankfully the Patients who behave in this way are in the minority but are reminded the NHS has a zero tolerance of such behaviour and may be asked to register at another Surgery.

If anyone is witness to any inappropriate behaviour we would appreciate receiving a written statement from you - please address to the Practice Manager and mark your correspondence in a Private & Confidential envelope.   Thank you.
